The Moorland Club was formed in 2001 as a social club for women of all ages, living and working in, or near, the rural parish of Oakford.
Monthly meetings are held on the second Thursday in Oakford Village Hall at 7.30pm (unless otherwise stated), and always with refreshments! There is a full programme of events with talks and visits and social evenings while raising money for a designated charity each year.
The Club organises a summer flower and produce show and an Autumn Fayre.
New members are always welcome and do not have to be residents of Oakford.
There is an annual subscription of just £15.
If you would like further information please call the Chairlady, Louise Wilder on 01398 351277.
